Best Rated Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies in this recipe are super delicious and flavorful containing healthy fats like coconut butter and walnuts. Tips to get soft and chewy home baked cookies are :

  • For best results, I always prefer to keep all the ingredients at room temperature for atleast an hour or so before starting the cooking process. Coconut butter not only adds flavor but also makes the cookies firm but melt in your mouth.
  • Make sure not to overbake the cookies else they will become hard on cooling. When you take out the cookies, they might appear little softer but let them cool completely on wire rack. On cooling , the cookies harden a little.
  • You can use light or dark brown sugar but I prefer dark brown sugar. The reason is dark brown sugar contains more molasses and adds more flavor better in taste, it imparts slightly caramel-like overtones, and you will have a more tender cookie.
